Ok trying to get a successful 45m baron run under my belt, it's all I need to continue with my tier .5 gear, since the nerf of the bg's i'm looking again to try and upgrade my armor. Please, need some experience players for this one....massive dps. Don't feel shy, lol. Come kick some butt, also, i'll be fronting the repair bills.

I can help ya out in game any time I am around. A few things that might help things go smother next time you go.... do a few practice runs don't go there every time thinking you can do it just relax wait till you have the right classes and just for you I would try to have 10 or more holy water. Assuming you don't have 10 holy water already those crates drop alot of scrolls, lesser pots, and some gray items you can use to fund the runs. You will need a few dps pots, sharp/weight stones to pass around and mana oil is really nice... I would say have a stack of major manas to donate just in case the baron or the gauntlet goes sour. If you loot enough crates you should have enough lesser healing/mana pots which are nice to burn up in mad frenzy pulls without the hurt on the wallet. The only class I think is key in this would be a mage. Yes other class prob are better than others in certain areas but you need to pull fast which means CS pulls ftw. Alot of pugs will wipe in the first two pulls of the run cause either they didn't pull a screecher back and got feared or a screecher added off the mob in the middle of the pats cause they didn't pull back and then got feared. So unless you pull/dps to slow or wipe on the damn banshee you should be fine. BTW don't go mad buying pots its just to help out your fellow party members a bit. Also blow your fear lol....i think that was you lol.

What worked for Bulwerke was he picked a slow non-raid day and PMed a handful of people to set them up for the run later that day. He hand-picked a group and we went in and got it taken care of.

The 45m run is one of my favorite runs in the game. Mostly because you go in kick ass and then get the hell out. I agree that group make up is key. It is funny I consider the paladin critical to a good run not the mage, they can heal, they can rez and they can throw down a nice area aggro when we get extra mobs. A tank, priest/druid, paladin, dps, alt dps type group of group are the ones I have had the most success with. With the holidays coming up I don't know when I will be on just hanging around but if I know of a day when this is needed I would sign on specifically for a 45m run.

I dunno about you Rashin, but I tend to overlook my class's usefulness when considering a group makeup.
The stunlock and sap capabilites of a rogue seem so intrinsic to the WoW experience to me that I can't imagine a group without them. I've done it both with and without a mage and, so I'm not saying it can't be done without one, but the sheep and silence are much more noticeable when they aren't there =)

thanks for all the replies, i'm looking forward to this weekend now...i've got over 60 gold to spend on mana pots, mana oil, and farmed some dense sharpin' stones, also a few health pots to pass around, yes, i don't have the water, so it's going to be a ruff one...but, i've never done the barron on more than what we get from inside a run....just me though. Of couse, that's why i've probably haven't gotten a good run yet. ROFLMAO!!!!!
